1969 Dodge Charger

This is by far the top dream car of mine. I would die to own one of these. When it was first launched in 1966, the Dodge Charger was an instant hit. With the idea taken from the mid 1960's Coronet, the new Charger's were made with a rich and superior interior and plenty of power. The Dodge Charger couldn’t be made with anything the 426 Hemi that had 425 horsepower and 490 lb ft of torque. It surely deserved all that power. And with the Muscle Car Market in full explosion Mopar fans went and bought one as soon as they could. I wish I had lived back then because buying a new car like this was dirt cheap compared to now. It cost a little less than $4,000 dollars to buy a brand new, no rust, no dents or scratches, original everything Dodge Charger. That’s like every muscle car lover’s dream! Now they’re worth so much more, especially with low miles and an amazing body. The 1969 Charger still used the same body as the year before but it was designed with a divided grille and new taillights. The base Chargers had the 225-cid slant-six and the 318-cid V-8 as standard engines. The Charger R/T had the 440-cid V-8 as its standard engine. You could get a Charger SE which was a mix of sport and luxury that had all of the standard Charger features plus leather and vinyl bucket seats, fake wood grain steering wheel, deep-dish wheel covers, hood-mounted turn signal indicators, and fake wood grain instrument panel. The Charger 500 was based on the standard Charger, but was made with a flush-mounted grille, fixed headlights, and a flush-mounted rear window glass for lower wind resistance. The reason it couldn’t keep up with Ford’s new cars was because the aerodynamics weren’t good enough, so it slowed the Charger down. But the 500 did have the suitable aerodynamics to keep up. The Charger was no doubt a racecar that needed to be used for its purpose which is to race in NASCAR. To compete in NASCAR and to comply with the newly set standards, Dodge produced a limited number of Charger 500s but soon they realized that they were not providing an advantage over Ford. As a solution, the Daytona Charger was introduced. With a roof-high spoiler, elongated nose made of fiberglass, these cars could charge down the speedway at nearly 200 mph. The modified design paid off when Bobby Isaac won the Daytona 500 in February 1969. Only 1000 Dodge Daytona Charger's were produced and along with the 500 have become two of the most desirable of all Chargers. This right here, is one of the best cars ever made.

2014 Chevy Camaro Z28

It's back! The z28 is one of the most known Camaros that was ever made. And the new look is so mean! It just looks like it's in a race mode all the time. I love it, and the black rims and spoilers make it unique to all the other Camaro packages. The whole new fascia for the front end is a ton better than the 2013 version. To make it lighter, the Z/28 was made with 19-inch wheels, taking off 42 lbs over the 20-inch rims found on the SS and ZL1. There's no tire inflation kit, trunk carpeting, some sound deadening, and fog lights. Air conditioning is optional, the rear glass is slightly thinner, and the battery is a lightweight unit. The stereo is a single speaker retained for the obligatory seat-belt minder chime. Nine pounds have been cut from the backseat through material changes and doing away with the pass through ability. In the end, the Z/28 weighs 300 lbs less than the ZL1, or about 3,820 lbs. This puts it at 40 lbs lighter than a Camaro SS with a manual transmission and 200 lbs heavier than the Ford Mustang Boss 302. But that is most the information that I found. They like to keep it a surprise too. They haven't even let the price out yet!

2013 Hennessey Venom GT

All I can say is whoa. When you see this car, there's no doubt that it's fast. Even the stock version of this car would blow any average car away. Then having Hennessey upgrade it? Oh man. Any of there cars have way too much power for one man to have. But this is their most powerful one yet. They put the LS7 in this, which is the 7.0L 427 CID aluminum block in it, and that's a crazy huge, crazy powerful motor, basically pushing nothing. Then on top of that they put twin precision turbo ball turbochargers on it. This give it a total of 1,244 horsepower and 1155 lb-ft torque. I think they're trying to make a land rocket, and if so they sure have done it. This car is so light, everything is made out of carbon fiber except for the doors and the roof, weighing in at a little over 2,700 pounds. The aerodynamics of this car are insane too. It lays so low to the ground, and all the flares and the spoiler, it gives it so much down force. I said it was fast right? It's probably classed as beyond fast. It goes 0-60 in 2.7 seconds, 0-100 in 5.6 seconds, and will do a quarter mile in 9.92 seconds. 6 seconds and its over 100! That's insane! I couldn't even grasp being in a car that could do that. I don't think any man could reach it's top speed without being crazy, fastest car in the world reaching 278 mph. Blowing the Bugatti Veyron out of the water at 258 mph. That's getting close to 300, and I don't know if anything is safe going 300 on the ground. But the price for the Hennessey modified Venom GT is $1.1 million dollars. Hats off to the man who can buy this car.

1972 Chevy Nova (Super Sleeper)

I am a huge fan of muscle cars, and this one is probably the most well built, well hidden muscle car sleepers. A sleeper is an old muscle car that doesn't have the greatest looks. Maybe a few rust spots there, and some dents there. But then when you lift the hood, the motor blows your mind. and thats exactly what happened when I was checking this car out. You definitely can't see it, but this beast is carrying 1,160 horsepower and 825 lb-ft torque. This is because this has an all-aluminum LS2 Longblock with twin-superchargers. I'll give you a few minutes to stare in amazement at the picture below.
How he was able to do that, I don't know. But I do know that they had to reinforce a majority of the body because the amount of power it has would twist the frame like no other. A unique feature of this car is that it has what is called "Octane On Demand" fuel system, which allows the car to carry gas from the fuel pumps at the gas stations, and and also high octane racing fuel. They each have their own set of injectors. The primary one is used for the fuel pump gas, since it is a daily driver. The secondary is used for the racing fuel. So when the driver is cruising through town he is using normal gas, but maybe when he is out on an old country road or maybe even on the highway or interstate and wants to get on it, all he has to do is punch the gas and the secondary fuel system with spray the racing fuel to give the car an instant boost. To give you an idea of how fast it is, it ran a 10.41 at 141 mph on a quarter mile. Overall, this car is truly an amazing and unique car.

2013 VR1200 Cadillac Hennessey Coupe

This is probably the nicest Cadillac you'll ever see, so you better get a really good look at it. They're only making 12 of these monsters. Thats in the world. This thing has so much power it's ridiculous, nobody should possess this much power. But if you're rich you sure could. Which doesn't make since, you know just cause you have alot of money doesn't automatically make you qualified to drive supercars dangerously. Most rich people fail to listen to that advice. And what do they do? They screw around in traffic and it costs them tons of money when they crash their precious Ferrari into the wall. Just something that annoys me. Anyway, back to the car. Let me just start off with telling you that this car has 1,226 horsepower, and 1,109 lb ft torque. Like what more do you need?! Thats insane. I have no words for it. Its 0-60 time is 2.9 seconds. Another mind blower. And get this, its top speed is 242 mph. The reasons it is able to go that fast and aquire so much power is because Hennessey dropped a 7.0L 427 CI aluminum V8 block into this sucker. Oh, and they added twin turbos. It has forged pistons, connecting rods, and crankshaft. Just everything in the whole engine assembly you could possibly upgrade it has done. Superior exhaust system, intercooler, high flow air induction system. The drivetrain assembly comes in manual or automatic, but the automatic costs $20,000 more. Upgraded suspension, brakes, tires, everything. This car is just absolutely amazing. But it also costs $295,000. So good luck with that!

2015 BMW M2 Concept

This car looks pretty dang cool and fast. The 2015 M2 definitely has a futuristic and sporty look to it. It has a front mounted engine that hooks up to a semi-auto transmission. There's not too many details that BMW has let out about this concept, but there are a few possibilities for this cars engine type. One is a 3.0L six cylinder turbocharged engine which is estimated at 350 or so horsepower. The second is a tri-turbo engine the will be made for the first time. A very nice addition for the new M2 is that the body is going to be made up of carbon fiber reinforced plastics. So that means this car is going to be super light, and you know its going to be super fast as well. The only thing that isn't the best on this car is the fuel mileage. BMW has made other cars with much better mpg, but since the details are limited I'm not sure what the mpg range will be. And also the price is not given yet either, but this is a great concept car! If BMW does develope this car, it will sure to be a banger on the market.

2013 Chrysler 300 SRT8

Another classy dream car of mine. The reason I like these kind of cars, is that it looks so clean but yet still has a ton of power. The SRT8 package gives this car the 6.4L Hemi V8 in it. Sounds like it would eat the gas right? Wrong. It has Fuel Saver technology in it, so it actually gets 14 MPG in the city and 23 on the highway. All the while, the engine is still producing 470 horsepower and 470 lb ft of torque. Thats pretty incredible. I think the boys up at SRT have this upgrading car thing down. The speedometer reads 180 MPH, and I guaruntee that it goes all of that very quickly. The ride is so smooth too, due to the 4-wheel independent suspension. Makes it to where you barerly feel any bumps in the road. One of my friends four wheelers has independent suspension, and it's a whole lot better than any other four wheeler that I've rode. That thing glides over holes. Another reason i like this car is because it reminds me of a Bentley. Its just the more affordable one. Bentleys cost a few hundred thousand, but this is just under 50 grand. You can also buy aftermaket things to make it look more like a Bentley also. This would be a nice car for an older person who still enjoyed the thrill of having a nice car.

2013 Range Rover Supercharged

Another Great SUV that is on the market. This is probably either the most or second to most luxurious SUV's that are produced. It has such a clean look, with complete class. It's not overly fancy, or has a whole bunch of expensive things on it. It's just a simple 5.0L V8 SUV with a supercharger, which produces an incredible 510 horsepower. Which is still a lot don't get me wrong, but you just don't see people using these in drag racing or on a professional track. I feel that it's more of a business type car. Something a CEO or someone of that stature would drive. Land Rover designed this vehicle with emissions in mind. They wanted something that would be good for the environment, and they successfully made something that did that. Even with the power of a V8 with a supercharger, it still only emits 322 g/km of Carbon Dioxide. I can't even name all the new technology thats in this vehicle. The transmission and the suspension is basically all electronic. It's got terrain response, cornering brake control, dynamic stability control, electronic traction control, roll stability control, electronic cross linked air suspension, permanent 4WD, and also a nice 8-speed automatic transmission. So as you can see, there's tons of electonically controlled things on here. I love the looks of this SUV. It kind of gives the look of wealth. But the price of this is $99,995. So you do have to have money to afford one of these.

2013 Subaru WRX STI

Ah, the 2013 Subaru WRX STI. One of the dream cars for stunt drivers. This cars are good for any kind of racing that you want to do. If its tracks? Not a problem. If you want to drag? Easy. If you're a drifter? This car will make you do backflips. Into offroading? Buckle up, because this car is gonna take you for a ride. This car can do everything but fly like a plane. They do fly though! Professionals use these cars to jump gaps. It's super fast, it's light, it's compact, it's very aerodynamic, and it's a four door. This car has a very small engine to produce such speed. It only has a 2.5 L 4-cylinder. Yep! That's all it's got. But, it does have a turbocharger, and it's not just a regular in-line 4. It has the Subaru Boxer engine in it, which has a different functioning order. Instead of the pistons going up and down, they go side to side. But this little engine produces a whopping 305 hp. Thats insane for a 4 cylinder! My truck that has a V8 in it has around the same, and I have 4 more cylinders. It also produces 290 lb ft of torque which considering that the car doesn't weight that much. The transmission on this car is manual 5-speed. Most people would want an automatic so they don't have to do much, but some people prefer to have a manual. I like it because you can short shift your gears so that you save on gas. And if you want to go fast it makes you feel like a nascar driver. The reason this car is used for so much is because its suspension can handle almost anything that it comes too. It handles so well because it has a symmetrical all wheel drive suspension with a highly developed stability system and traction control. This car is true amazing and I could only dream of having one. The base price for this car is at $34, 295.

2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8

This Jeep is the most impressive one so far. Its not just a normal jeep, it has a ton of power under the hood. The 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 runs from 0-60 mph in 4.8 seconds, screams from 0-100-0 mph in the 16 second range, covers the quarter mile in the 13 second range, has a top speed of 160 mph, and brakes from 60-0 mph in 116 feet. Now if that's not impressive for a car I don't know what it. Especially for an SUV. In person, the Grand Cherokee is sleek and muscular; its power is not obvious, except when the engine is on and rumbling, then it's a whole new story. The car looks smaller than it is, and sportier than the stock Grand Cherokee. They have dropped the suspension, so it's also alot lower than the stock Grand Cherokee. Powering the 2013 Cherokee SRT8 is a new 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 that delivers 470 horsepower and 465 lb ft of torque, 50 horsepower and 45 lb ft torque more than the 6.1-liter V-8 it replaced, and that is stock. The intake manifold and high-lift camshaft with cam phasing deliver better low-end torque, while optimizing peak power across a wider and improved rpm band. So this Jeep not only looks classy, powerful and new, but it also delivers the intense power of the SRT8 package. To me this is the ultimate SUV that any car fan would want. And some of the Custom Jeeps blow my mind too. The base price for this is $55,295.

2015 SRT Barracuda

This is the 2015 Barracuda concept. It's very similar to the challenger, but it comes in a smaller package. A whole 300 pounds smaller. This is obviously a modified version, given that the hood has been painted and the chrome wheels have been put on. There isn't much information on this new car since it is two years away from actually being produced. But hey, since they have almost redone every other muscle car, might as well redo the Barracuda as well. It's definitely a classic car that has a good reputation. The only thing I hate about what Chrysler is doing is putting a 2.4L 4-cylinder in it as one of the options for the car. Which they have done with all the other cars that they've redone. Makes me mad because it takes away from the original. No one bought this car just for the looks, they bought it for the power. The powerful V8's that all of them carried are slowly being deminished. It's the sad truth. But thankfully they're making a V8 option too. Either a 5.7L or a 6.4L SRT. The value hasn't leak out yet, but manufacturers are guessing that this car will be the most expensive out of the modern day muscle cars. I can't wait to see what car they're going to redo next!

2014 Nissan GTR

The beast of all V6 cars. If cars were alive, and they were stuck with a V6 size engine, this is the car that they would want to be. This car is unbelievable. This car is classed as a supercar, like the same class that Ferrari, Lamborghini, Audi, and Porsche. But most of those cars have V8 to V12 size engines. It has also been awarded the title of one of the fastest cars in the world and is part of the "2 Second Club" because of its astonishing 0-60 time of 2.9 seconds. But this is only possible because of the engine design. The new 2014 model has higher output injectors to increase the acceleration when you're already travel at highway speeds. An updated twin-turbocharger setup to increase the speed also, especially at high RPMs. Nissan has also added a new baffle plate inside the oil pan to help stabilize the oil pressure better than before. The GTR is known as one of the most well handling cars on the market. It was already amazing at handling, but then they modified the shock absobers and the front stabilizer bar to increase the handling. The suspension is setup to balance the offset weight of the driver, with the spring in the front on the driver's side has a higher rate than the other one. And the back springs are the opposite. The GTR has an all-wheel-drive system along with a six speed dual clutch manual transmission with paddle shifters on the back of the steering wheel. Which is also quite nice as well. I chose this car as my next post because it's the only V6 car that has caught my attention and earned quite a deal of respect with the auto industry and mine as well. I would die to have this car. It gets pretty decent gas mileage too, at 23 highway and 16 in the city. That's way better than my truck, and this car is so much faster. It's not fair. But the price well suits the car at $96,820.

2012 Dodge Charger SRT8

Ohhhhhhh man. Beast mode. This car is amazing. I love old muscle cars made new and its nice to see that Dodge is still making General Lee look awesome. The car itself looks like an animal that commands the throne of the jungle. And of course this is the SRT8 version of it, so it's like ten times as awesome. This bad boy has a 6.4 liter V8 with 470 hp and 470 ft-lb of torque. Holy Moley. That is a crap ton of power for stock. Plus its got new fuel saver technology so it has so much power and still gets great gas mileage. It gets 14 mpg in the city and 23 on the highway. That's better than my dad's work truck with a small V6 in it. It amazing what the new technology can do these days. Sure you have to pay at first to get the car, but eventually it'll pay for itself with all the money you save on gas. And you still get to cruise around looking like the baddest guy in town. You also get to cruise around in luxury with the heated red leather and suede seats that have a race look to them. With all this power, how fast is it? Oh its fast. It goes 0-60 in less than five seconds, and tops out at 175 miles per hour. A quarter mile is less than 13 seconds. Which is awesome given that you have to give up nothing to get that much power. Still have have comfort, air conditioning, a nineteen speaker sound system in it, and a touchscreen display on the dash. It also has amazing handling thanks to the independent suspension for the front and the rear end suspension. It also has different modes to suit the kind of driving you feel like doing, either sport or auto. And if you get going to fast you don't have to worry because its got four wheel disc brakes from Brembo, and performance tires to go with that. The only thing that is bad about this car is the price. It does dig into your wallet a bit but I'd say that all this make up for it. Base price for this car is $47,425.

2013 Bentley Continental GT

The 2013 Bentley Continental GT. One of the most luxurious cars to ever hit the road. This V8 model is a newer model of the 2012 GT which is a 12-cylinder, so this has a little less power and the price is also lower. The engine is tuned to produce 500 hp at 6000 rpm and 487 lb-ft of torque at 5000 rpm. It will send power through an eight-speed automatic transmission to its all wheel drive drive-train system. The power numbers aren’t all that far from the 567 hp and 516 lb-ft produced by the twin turbo 6.0-liter engine currently in the Continental, and neither is Bentley's prediction of a close five second 0 to 60 mph and a top speed over 180 mph. They're also saying that this model will be a good deal lighter, which also will help improve fuel economy, and also they're adding the new cylinder deactivation system that turns four out of the eight cylinders off when it's carrying light loads. Since this model still produces almost as much at the 12-cylinder model, it might end up being the preferred model to race or to drive on test courses since it is a lot lighter. I love the looks of this car. Somehow Bentley was about to put a great amount of class and still have a fast look to it also. And then they add all this power, it just makes the ultimate luxury car. The cost for this car is around $185,000.

2006 Pontiac GTO

Oh my gosh. Its only the Pontiac GTO, made after the old muscle car last made in 1973. And I know this isn't a new car, but it's still one of my favorites. Since they remade all the other cars they had to do this one too. But this car is just so awesome because its got everything really. It has got the luxury, and the looks, and more importantly the power. This car is made with two different kind of engines. One is a 5.7 liter V8, and the other one would be a 6.0 liter V8 also known as the LS2. This car pictured here has the LS2 in it. I love this engine because many cars don't have that much power at the stock level. But the GTO has a whopping 400 hp stock! It also has 400 ft-lb of torque, which will definitely put you in the back of your seat. The old GTO from 1973 only had 200 hp. That's a big difference in age and power! The GTO also has not a 4-speed but a 6-speed. I just can't get over that GM was able to put everything into this car that they did. This is seriously my favorite car and I wouldn't want to drive anything else. The modified versions of this car is awesome too. You put an exhaust and some nice wheels and this car will seriously catch people's eyes while you're driving by. Its made to go fast in a straight line, not really for drifting or anything.

2013 Mustang Shelby GT500 Cobra

This is the new 2013 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Cobra. I think this is the only other body style I like besides the 1999-2004 body style. I'm also a huge fan of the Cobra, so when they put the two together I could do nothing but stare in awe. The electrifying blue color that Ford put on it is another eye catcher. The things that GT500 did to the engine are amazing. They made the cylinders bigger so it went from a 5.4 liter to a 5.8 liter V8 engine, and also upgraded almost all of the engine. They gave it new heads, updated the camshaft profiles, more powerful injectors and piston squirters. The regular supercharger wasn't enough apparently so they put a TVS unit on it. TVS stands for Twin Vortices Series, which a new type of supercharger that produces more power and better fuel efficiency, but comes smaller than a regular supercharger. The ideal package that any muscle car lover would want. To compromise all these upgrades, they had to install a larger inter cooler to make sure the engine didn't overheat because of all the power its making now. Some other things they had to upgrade to stay up with this excess power were an upgraded cooling system, carbon fiber drive shaft, clutch, transmission, stronger rear-axle, and added the launch control. All of this gives the Mustang and extra 100 hp and 90 lb-ft torque compared to the 2012 model, and has been named the "beastliest Mustang ever," with a total of 650 hp and 600 lb-ft torque. That's jaw dropping for a stock mustang, and kind of embarrasses Chevy since they haven't made anything factory to produce that much power. The closest thing they have is the ZL1, but that's still 70 hp behind. The factory Mustang had a top speed of 200+ miles per hour, which is also faster than Chevy's Z06 Corvette. I'm a Chevy guy and sad to say that this car puts them to shame. It just has that mean race me if you dare look, and if i was driving it I'd race anybody with confidence that I would blow them away. And of course they had to upgrade the brake system to stop you in time if you ever do get close to 200 miles per hour. The base price of this car is $49,605. If I had enough money, I think this would be the car I want. Even though I am a Chevy guy this car just appeals to me more. And if we were back in the 1960's to 1980's, Chevy's cars would spank Ford with a 2x4. Just saying.

If you want to see the highly tuned performance version of this car, made special and dedicated to Carroll Shelby visit this site. http://www.motorauthority.com/news/1078582_carroll-shelby-honored-with-850-hp-2013-ford-mustang-shelby-gt500-cobra

2014 Corvette Stingray

The new 2014 Corvette Stingray. That name hasn't been used in 38 years, and the body is taken from the last Stingray model in 1976. This car is beyond amazing with the new technology and the mean new look that GM Motors gave it. The polygonal taillights and the old body style mixed with the newer style body really make this a masterpiece. Some of the features of this car are a new aluminum engine block, with a 6.2 liter V8 small block Chevy in it cranking out 450 hp and 450 lb-ft torque. It has either a six speed automatic transmission, or a seven speed manual transmission. It goes 0-60 in less than four seconds. These are incredible features, but the best one by far is pretty mind blowing. While cranking out that much power and speed, it still can deliver up to 30 miles per gallon on the highway. That's insane! If I had enough money, I would definitely be buying this car. You have everything that you would want in this car. The power, the speed, and still look awesome pulling up anywhere in it. Stingrays gets an aluminum frame that weighs 100 pounds less than the regular frame that's on the 2013 Corvette. The wheelbase is an inch longer and the front and rear tracks are nearly 1 inch wider. This makes the weight distributed evenly across the car. All this helps the Corvette Stingray pull 1.0 g on the track with smaller tires than the current car, and cuts down the turning radius by almost 2 feet. Another new feature of the new Stingray is that newly developed interior. The Corvette is popular because of the interiors by any means, critics and reviews from the past agree with this. But the interior of this Corvette was well thought out, because it accompanies those who use the car for luxury purposes and for those who use it for racing purposes. Something neat is that it has two kinds of seat belts; one for a regular cruise down the road and then another one that's made for racing. These are just some of the many other features that this car has. I am definitely looking forward to seeing these cars preform. The base amount for the Corvette Stingray is estimated to be $52,000.
